My DD is on a very similar sleep schedule. On days like you're describing, I always put her down about an hour earlier and wake her up when it's time to go. She's very adaptable though. Sometimes she wont nap at all.
Same here - although DS usually only sleeps 2 - 2 1/2 hrs.

DS is pretty flexible. He takes that same long nap most days, but if we are out, he'll take it from 4pm-6pm instead or even later sometimes.
This is my DS. But the most he will nap is 2.5 hours a day. Once he gets his 2.5 hours he is done with napping for the day. Some days he has one nap other days two. Napping is one thing I’m not strict with. He always seems to conk out in the car even if it’s a 20 minute power nap. And if this is the case and we are going somewhere, I will sit in the car and let him sleep an additional 30 minutes so he isn’t a grouch when he wakes up.
