Waiting for Dr. to call me back - I'm HOME!
On my way home from work I started getting this bad pain in the right side of my belly, to the right of my belly button and down. It quickly got worse and DH had to come help me get into the house. I tried laying down in all different positions - baby is moving but the pain is not getting better. It is really bad and I can barely even talk at this point. I can hardly move.
I dont know what it could be, besides maybe a pulled muscle. I really dont want to go to the hospital but Im scared thats where I'll end up tonight

Well the nurse called back and the dr. said to head to L&D.....I'm gonna let DH and the kids eat first and then go
Update #2:
Well I'm home. It was really frustrating to say the least. I get there and I have all these urses looking at me like I'm crazy for coming in. But then they hear I'm a repeat c/s so they understad my dr. is worred I could be rupturing (even though my pain was very high)
The get me admitted, hook me up to the monitors and start asking the million questions that they ask. In the middle of all this, I have a pretty painful contraction. The nurse leaves, and out of the blue, the cotractions start every 5 minutes or so - but they were VERY short, like 20 seconds. And I know they werent bad, but they hurt like h e l l. So the urse comes back and says theyre gonna put me on fluid to see if taht will stop contractions. I did NOT have any contractions at home ad the pain in my belly seemed unrelated to this.
So, then we get called for a sono which was just HORRIBLE. The room was 100 degrees and I swear the girl had no clue what she was doing. She had to keep going to check with the radiologist about things and was freaking me out the entire time. Every time she said I was done, she came back and said they needed to recheck something - fluid, kidneys, everything. So now I'm panicked thinking theres something wrong and of course she wont tell me anything.
We get back to the room (now its already midight! The nurse comes in and says the sono report is showing an enlarged right kidney, which is very normal for pregnancy. They were still waiting on the OB report. I already finished one bag of fluids at this point. She hooks me back up to the monitor, and I tell the unrse I'm still contracting. Well, the monitor is showing contractions just about every 45 seconds - but they were again really short, like 15 or 20 seconds. And getting stronger. So she says she needs to go call the dr. since usually one bag of fluid will show an improvement, if not stop them altogether.
So the dr. (who was not from my practice - thank god) has her do the ffn test and also has her check to see if my water was leaking. The water test came back instantly as negative, which I knew it would because I didnt feel anything back there. She says we have to wait for the results for the other test. I finally manage to fall asleep at 1:30.
Wake up at 3, contractions stopped and I tell DH I want to go home. They completely disregarded the reason why I originally went in once the contractions started. My belly was still hurting, although not as much as earlier. Nurse comes in, says the dr. on call is in and will be right in to see me. She has to deliver a baby first so finally comes in at 3:45, gives me an internal - nothing is going on down there. She tells me I can go home, that there is nothing wrong. My blood work showed a high white count but that was it. So now I'm asking her where the pain is coming from. And shes telling me its sensitive skin  I was like it is OT, its very tender UNDER the spot and it radiates thru the whole right side of my belly. But at this point I just told her I wanted to go home. I'll follow up with my regular dr. at my appt on Monday. I could hardly walk out because the pain was still there.
So on the way home, I'm thinking to myself, my kidney is enlarged, I have a high white blood cell count and I have severe pain in my belly. The nurse did earlier in the day say that the pain could possibly be caused by my kidney, even though it wasnt as high as the kidney or more towards the back. So, I'm wondering if I have a kidney infection or something. Either way, I'm seeing my dr. on Monday.
Sorry this was so long. I was very disappointed with the dr. that was on call - the nurses were great and were just doing what they were told so I cant really blame them.
Oh, and this little brat is head down again  I'm sure she'll turn back though because they always do for me!

I know you won't want to here this... I know you don't want to end up at the hospital, but if it's going to help you get answers for the pain and your breathing/blood pressure issues, then don't fight it!
