w/ 2nd update....please say some prayers all is ok

I started having some moderate brown spotting tonight, I know brown is ok as long as it's not red, but it's been accompanied by a weird pressure feeling in my stomach, not cramping exactly but it's weird and I have a really bad feeling, like all of a sudden I'm filled with dread, I am hoping it's just b/c I'm so nervous since my last pregnancy ended in m/c and not b/c my body is having a sixth sense that something is going wrong. I am shaking as I type this and so scared.....all I can think is what if I go to sleep and wake up to red blood, I am calling my doctor first thing in the morning to see if I can get in with them tomorrow. I'm taking my mom for an angiogram in the morning, but I think she has to stay there for 4 hours to recuperate so maybe I can run to my doctor's office during the wait. Please say some prayers that all is ok, I am so scared Chat Icon

eta, I am 8w1d, and in my last pregnancy my D&C was when I was 8w4d....I was so hopeful after hearing the heartbeat twice this is proving anything can happen at any time (even if everything does turn out ok, I am more anxious than ever to get out of the 1st trimester!)

**update: I am now experiencing bright red bleeding, I am inconsolable, DH is going to take my mom for the angiogram and I'm going to go straight to my doctor when they open at 8AM. Why is this happening to me again, I am so sad and overwhelmed Chat Icon

**2nd update.....thanks for all of the prayers they must have worked b/c I went to the doctor this morning and they said everything looks fine!! The baby's heart rate is 185, and I'm actually measuring 2 days bigger than before (so due date changed again!), and most importantly my cervix is CLOSED. Even though I was feeling cramping and had the bright red bleeding they said there's a number of reasons it can happen and not lead to miscarriage. She said I need to take it easy, no heavy lifting or anything (which I did lift up my niece on Saturday and did laundry, so maybe the heavy lifting put me over the edge??). So far today I've only had brown spotting again, so I hope to God I am done with the red bleeding, I was 100% convinced I was miscarrying last night, DH even cried, and he NEVER cries Chat Icon My mother in law wound up taking my mom for the angiogram (which turned out fine too!) and DH was able to come with me for for this morning's sono, he was so happy to hear the heartbeat for the first time. I go back on Friday evening and I hope to have continued good progress....if I experience any more severe bleeding or really intense cramping they want me to come back in right away. Scare of a lifetime!!! Thank you all again!!! So happy to have good news to share with everyone instead of the post I was anticipating having to make!!

Lots of prayers that everything is ok!! But try to relax, getting upset and anxious is not good for the baby either. (I know how hard it is to actually do this but try as hard as you can.) Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Try to stay calm until you see your doctor. I had bright red bleeding (with clots, sorry if TMI) at 8 weeks and I am now almost 30. weeks. Lots can cause bleeding in the first trimester. Prayers that you and LO are ok!!!Chat Icon Chat Icon

ITA don't give up yet, blood clots between the placenta & the uterus are fairly common, and its possible to have a healthy pregnancy despite the bleeding. Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

thank you so much for the prayers and trying to reassure me, but I have to admit the cramping and the fact that all of a sudden I just don't feel pregnant (my boobs are no longer sore and don't feel as full!), are really making me feel like I am definitely miscarrying.....last time I held on to false hope and this time I am just facing the facts since I feel like I already know what is happening. I haven't been able to sleep all night, I am kicking myself for not changing doctors sooner b/c I really don't want my old ob to handle another D&C since I wasn't happy with them last time, and I don't know if the new ob I had scheduled to meet with on March 29th will see me today if I already know I'm miscarrying. I am praying for a miracle but I already feel like I lost hope Chat Icon
