Please Say prayers for my SIL and her unborn baby...

preciouslove I love my DS!!! Member since 5/05 9340 total posts Name: Blank	Please Say prayers for my SIL and her unborn baby... My SIL's (my brother's wife) due date is early november and tonight after lamaze class her water broke. She went to the hospital where they say that they are going to give her something to make the contractions stop. As of right now it looks like this will be a waiting game because this baby might be born premature. It all depends on if they can stop the contractions and control her water breaking. The baby is only 4 pounds now and every 11 hours they will need to give my SIL steroids to help his lungs breathe should he be born... Please say some prayers for her and for my unborn nephew...

Right now they are giving her some shots to try to stop the contractions, that itself might take a week. But if they can't stop it then he will have to be born now...

I know this is a very scary time for your family, you will be in my prayers..but stay positive.... 4lbs is really good. My nephew was born at 32 gestational weeks and weighed 3lbs 10oz My son was born at 25 gestational weeks and was 1lb 14oz. both are doing very well...my nephew will be 2 next week and my son is 13 months old.
