Re: Vitamins
Katherine still doesn't get vitamins. We go back to the doctor right after she turns 1, so maybe I'll hear then, but they've never said anything to me about it yet.

Re: Vitamins
Roman just got his prescription for vitamins at his 6 month visit. Let me tell you the smell makes me want to throw up everyday. Luckily he doesn't seem to care.

Re: Vitamins
I was told to start giving TriViSol also at 2 months old. DD was only getting BM at the time. I asked why she needed it because I was under the impression that BM had everything in it that babies need; and I was still taking my prenatal vitamins so I thought that would be sufficient. The doctor told me that not all vitamins pass into the breastmilk so they need the supplement. I have to give her 0.5ml per day.

Re: Vitamins
Sara started at 6 months. It smells so bad - Sara makes a face but takes it anyway. I think I might try putting it in a bottle though

Re: Vitamins
Our doctor said he would rather she get vitamins from what she eats and doesn't recommend them. Honestly I'm a pharmacist and here in CO I never see people getting OTC or prescription children's vitamins, only when I lived in NY.
