Vitamins - Formula Fed infants under 1
If you have a formula fed infant under one, what vitamins if any are they on?

We got our vitamins through the pediatrician. I don't know the name (I can check when I get home later) but ask the dr and if they think DC needs it they will prescribe one.

I don't think she was on any vitamins under 1 year old. I do remember some nasty nasty drops the doc prescribed- some vits with iron maybe? But I think that might have been over 1 year old.
I'd ask the ped what they think. Formula is fortified with a lot of vitamins already

My ped wrote scrips for vitamins but we never gave them to my DS.

No vitamins even now at almost 2. My ped recommends them only if she feels they're needed.
I'm not a big believer in vitamins unless there is a reason for a deficiency. Ideally, we should be getting all of our vitamins from our food (not that I do, I'm a hot mess).

LOL- I feel like I survive on vitamins and supplments. I'm not a great eater. Some days I eat, some days I really just pick. Some days I eat well, others I eat McD's and M&Ms. I hate veges with a passion. I can barely choke down anything related to a vegetable. Sometimes I'd rather not eat if give the choice of nothing or a vege. I feel like my body is made up for vitamin supplements.
