Visiting from TTC

Hey girls! Hope to join you soon and I'm sure this has been asked before but I'd appreciate your response if you could- how many months of TTC did it take before you got your BFP and what method did you use? TIA!

13 months for DS -- used OPK's. Was jsut about to start further testing when we got pg.

1 month for this baby! We decided to "see what happens" and it happened!

First time I was BBT charting and it only took 2 cycles (got BFP in Oct), I had a miscarriage in December from that pregnancy.

We were able to start trying again in Feb, while on vacation we were bd'ing twice a day, wasn't keeping track of anything or expecting to get preggo then but 2 weeks later I got a BFP! Dumb luck I suppose. But I'm sure your DH won't mind the sex every day method.

2 months. The first month I tried to figure out my O days from using one of those online ovulation calculators. The second month we used OPK's and got out BFP!

~2-3 months. no real plan. I used opk's but we weren't strict about "must bd" days or anything like that. we only bd 1x, 2 days before O, in the month I conceived.

i got pregnant on the first try...we basically winged it.
i had a chemical tho...
dr said we could start trying right away so we did...

i was blessed and lucky to get pregnant again right away...i pretty much used ever method out there! we like rabbits, tempted, used opk's drank raspberry leaf tea, prenatals, legs in the air...pretty much the works!!

DS was a happy accident - first time we ever slipped ever...EVER.

This one was 2 months - one month of just OPKs and BFN. The the next month - I used OPKs, temped, Green Tea, EPO and preseed and BFP. We everyday from CD 11 until 3 days after , so like 10 days in a row.

3 months (assuming this one sticks around ). The last two months I used OPK's and pre-seed.(The first month trying we did get a BFP, but it ended quickly in a chemical )

First month we pulled the goalie but werent timing or really tryying, Second month we didnt anywhere near my ovulation days; Third month we actually "tried" meaning we several times between the 12-16th day of my cycle as the doc suggested.. that worked!
We were also away, so Im pretty sure I was very relaxed, the pina colada fest i am sure helped relax me too! =()

I started taking Folic Acid about a year before we even started TTC.

I used the let's just see what happens method and it took me 7-8 months.

Just kept track of AF and O, 5 nights of and well the rest is history!

With DD-1 month of TTC. No method, just sex and having some knowledge of my cycle.

With DS-9 months total, including a miscarriage. Used OPKs.

This one-6 or 7 months of seeing what happens.

Different for every pregnancy.

5 months.

I used OPKs and took prenatals the entire time.

I started drinking Red Raspberry Leaf Tea and taking Musinex by month 4.

I bought a pill called FertileCM (same basis as Mucinex) by month 5 and finally got my BFP.

2.5 years

we were seeing an RE for a year and a half, did IUIs, shots, numerous IVF. i had 2 pregnancies but both were not viable. then we took a break to get a second opinion and bam, it just happened. good old fashioned i didn't track my cycle at all. didn't realize i was even pregnant until i was about 3-4 days late.

2 months. Like a pp poster, we did it the old fashion way. No opk, no tempting, which was no stress.

5 months, tried temping month 1, OPKs month 2-4, took off a month completely, didn't see each other my whole fertile week, month 5 we tried the CBEFM and it worked!

2 months. We followed Deannas plan, used OPK and preseed the 2nd month and..it worked

I will say that m doctor said it is UNcommon to get pregnant that quickly and it takes most cples (actively trying w/ no fertility issues) @6 months

I started using OPK's 2 months before I knew we would start officially trying because I wanted to be familiar with my cycle. The month we actually tried I knew when my O day would be, based on the previous couple of months, and we every other day and then on the day of.

So I O'd (got my Smiley) that week on a Saturday. We Mon, Wed, Fri, Sat & Mon

Preg on the first try. Really wasn't expecting it to happen so quickly and thankfully we've had no issues.
