Very Annoyed, not sure what I should do!

I am so annoyed at my registry right now!

So I really didn't think I was having any kind of shower/sprinkle of any kind. Last week we had a big thing where I went out to the shed to get our baby gear that we've been storing out there for the past 3+ years, and everything was moldy. The bouncer and the travel swing were the two items I was the most upset about. We used both a LOT with DD and I know we will need them both with the new baby. We did things pretty bare bones with DD --- no jumperoo, no pack n play, no full sized swing, no exercaucer or bumbo seat...so these 2 items were literally the only 2 things that we had saved that were big gear items that I knew we'd need and use again.

My sisters urged me to add them to my registry, which I did.

Now it's a week later and they are on my registry but BRU has changed them to out of stock both through the website and in stores. And my registry is almost empty now...I only registered for about 30 things, yet the two bigger items that I feel like I really need are still on there because they are out of stock!

I'm looking for another bouncer and travel swing made by Fisher Price (my old ones were fisher price and I loved them so much) and nothing is in stock! So I don't even know what to do about swapping them out with something else!

Ahh, what do I do?

Did you register online or in store? I've had this issue with a few items and have had to change them - mainly I had to change the color/pattern of my high chair and stroller. I would try going into a store to see what they have in stock and choosing from those or looking online to see if there is a new pattern for the pieces you want. I noticed that last month a lot of items were changing over for the new year. I hope you find something you like!

buy them yourself at a different store. maybe a different baby store or amazon.com will have them. online they usually have a lot of the discontinued and out of stock items leftover.

Im sure if most of your stuff is already taken, people are going to buy GC. You can just pick something out at the store instead. Theyre having that big trade in event, so im sure theyre going through merchandise like crazy.

BRU sucks that way!! So many things on my registry are not available anymore, I sometimes wonder why I bothered!!

If you still have the old things you aren't using because of the mold, then by all means take them to BRU and trade them in for the 25% off. I just did that with the old car seat I was going to reuse from Lauren, but after thinking about it and realizing it will be 6 years old in May, I traded it in. They will tell you to make sure that you can get something you want from the in-stock stuff, since they won't do a raincheck on out of stock items or specialty order anything for you.

So it seems like you are getting a shower?? How exciting! My little one with my sisters is today!@
