Venue for 40th Birthday
I have time until DH's 40th birthday but I'm a big time planner and want to come up with a list of potential places.
I just want a kick a$$ place. I looked at Prime but I don't think they can accommodate my list, which off the top of my head is at least 100. It will be November so outside is not a priority. Also looking at Rare 650, Blackstones, etc., but feel like I can get a lot more for my $$ elsewhere.
Looking in Nassau, Suffolk (not all the way East), Queens - Douglaston, Bayside, Astoria, etc, potentially Manhattan. I'm looking for private space, great food, and to bring in a dj. I went to a surprise 40th at Il Bacco in Douglaston and loved it, both space and food-wise but I'm having a lot of the same people and don't want to repeat the location. That type of place is ideally what I'm looking for.
I would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks!

DH's cousin's 40th was here and it was really nice!
We've had a few parties at The Plattdeutsche in Franklin Square and they're excellent! I highly recommend checking them out.
