The water show at Bellagio. If you're there to party, go to Re-hab at the Hard Rock on Sundays.

I 2nd the water show at the Bellagio Hotel -very nice at night.

We did the gondola ride at the Venetian and that was nice too (we did the one inside)

Definitely see the "O Show" by Cirque du Soleil! It was awesome!

Off the strip (and free!) you can go over to the RIO hotel and see the Mardi Gras celebration... so much fun.. also the Palms is supposed to be awesome (I haven't been , but heard great things..)

If you like coasters ride the one at NY/NY!!

ahh there is so much more to see/do, I'm sure everyone will give you great ideas Chat Icon

Well there are $12 HUGE and I mean HUGE margaritas in the MGM at some tiny little spot with a few tables....Chat Icon

Other than that trust me Vegas is overwhelming, there is so much to see and do!

If you want to pick up any souvenirs for people, do it at the Walgreens - they have a huge selection and nice selection for dirt cheap compared to the prices in the hotels.

Also, I loved the seafood buffet in the Rio.....it you like seafood its worth it.

I loved the Hoover Dam tour. I thought it was going to be cheesy (and some of it was, like all the tourist trap stops), but I really enjoyed the actual tour of the dam and it was very inexpensive.

A must see would be a Cirque show..I've seen mystere and zumanity...I've heard great things about "O" .....For a really good burger go to the burger bar (its in the little mall btwn Mandalay Bay and the Luxor...delicous!!! I would check out the water show at the Bellagio...the roller coaster at NY NY is awesome...you can also for free see the lions at mgm....there is also some (free) pirate show outside of Treasure Island ....the Wynn is just something to see and there are some (expensive) shops in there but nice to look around in...I'll try and think of more...I'm going the end of August again but I was just there in January

Don't forget the men and women on the strip who flicker the little "business" cards and try to give you one. DH and i always laugh at that.

Re: Vegas MUST SEEs?

There is also this ride at the top of the Stratosphere hotel called "Sling Shot" or something like that. You are on TOP of this tall Vegas Hotel, and they strap you into a harness and you are brought even higher up in the air! It is the most AMAZING views of the strip and was relatively inexpensive.

Also, the pool at Mandalay Bay is fabulous - it's a fake beach with waves and a lazy river (not sure where you're staying though). I also second all of the Cirque shows! They are amazing!

We LOVED the bar atop THEhotel (adjacent to Manadalay Bay). Drinks were pricey but views were better than GhostBar without the crowd and lines (at least when we went).

Re: Vegas MUST SEEs?

Our must do's when we go to Vegas

Dinner at Commander's Palace at the Aladdin- Best food and service anywhere but it is a little pricey

Roast Beef Sandwiches at the deli in the NY/NY. You guys get great roast beef though, so its not as big a deal as it is to us West Coasters.

Drinks at the outside bar(forget the name) at the Bellagio to watch the water show. This is an unforgetable moment.

Another great place for drinks with a view is at the bar at The Hotel at Mandalay Bay. Great View.
