Varicocele Update (Again!)
Last week , we got the news that DH still is not producing sperm. Today, we had the appointment to discuss his blood and SA results. It appears that the anastrozole that he has been on to increase his t-levels is not working. The doctor has now put him on clomid. At this point, I am not looking for sperm production (luckily we have frozen sperm) - I just wish they could get his t levels under control. He goes back in 5 weeks to see if the clomid is working...
In other news - I have a saline sonogram on Wednesday.

I hope the Clomid works. Good luck with your saline sono- mine was super easy.

Poor guy!!! He's been through the wringer!! Hopefully he will get results from clomid!!!

DH is on clomid too. It did help some with his T count and SA results. Good luck

My dh takes 25 mg a day (half a pill) in 2 months he goes back to urologist to see if there is improvement

That is what my DH is (going to be) on as well.
Thanks! He goes back in 5-6 weeks to check his levels.

Have you gotten a secon opinion? Just a thought and may help either ease your mind that he is getting the best treatment possible or that there are alternatives to what he may be doing. Either way, good luck with your sono and hope all goes smoothly going forward!

We are seeing the only local male infertility specialist in our area. If need be, we may consult our (new) clinic's urologist in NYC. My DH is (obviously) frustrated with the current situation.

and GL with sono. mine was suprisingly uncomfortable and then I was bleeding for 2 days

Thanks! I had an HSG in 2011 and felt fine afterwards....I hope the saline is the same.

same here. totally and absolutely fine after HSG. and then the sono so much bleeding for 2 days, but no pain at all. and HSG supposed to be the more invasive one... I guess every time is dif

Usually the saline is easier than the HSG. Good luck

Oh really, where? DH sees the Cornell urologist and he has been fantastic since his DFI came back abnormal.
