Took my Kenmore to Sears repair. $40 to assess. $65 to fix plus parts. If we don't fix it, we lose the $40. If we fix it it's just $65 plus parts if any.

It will be at the vacuum hospital for 2 weeks. Chat Icon Hope it lives.

Went to best buy and got a hoover cordless stick vacuum that has the little hand held vac with it. Very cool little vacuum. So far so good. I will give it the requisite amount of time before throwing away the box.

So I think if my Kenmore can be fixed reasonably (new progressive vacs start at $224.) then I will keep that one, warranty it and use this hoover as my second vac.
