Vacation strollers with 2 kids/twins?

We are going to RI. Sightseeing, shopping, etc. I'm borrowing a baby carrier or 2. I know strollers can't go in some places we will go especially a double. Do we bring the double for shopping and get a cheap umbrella one too (in case one of us doesn't want to wear a baby). I have no clue what to pack or if there is room in the truck for it all lol

We will have luggage, formula and baby stuff, a PNP and probably 2 RNP.

Depends on your personality and what you will be doing.

I used to go with one baby carrier and put my bigger kid (not twins) in the stroller. Did that through having the younger be over a year old. They are 1.5 apart.

Now, the younger one is 1.5 and walks, we barely take any stroller anymore (but will often carry them). We will take a double to things that require lots of walking like the zoo. Malls, food shopping, walks, anything else gets the single stroller.

What type of things do you anticipate not fitting a double stroller?

Buying a single stroller won't be a waste either way. I live taking the kids out alone (they do too) and use my single a lot.

Little shops and stuff. Maybe it's more dh. He was stressing over fitting places at the outlets even when we were fine.
