Uuuuggghhhh - can't find a home

Sorry - just needed to get that out and see if there was any advice...

I have been searching all week for homes of interest in the Wantagh/Merrick/Bellmore/Massapequa areas and nothing really jumps out at me. Chat Icon

Re: Uuuuggghhhh - can't find a home

There are some great homes in Bethpage where I live that are for sale. I was originally looking in the same areas as you and my RE agent said what about Bethpage? I said, what about it?...we went to see 4 homes and loved them all.

You never know..I never thought I would look at Bethpage, but we did and loved it.

Just a thought. I live right on the Plainview/Bethpage border.

I know it's easier said than done, but have patience. Don't stress and don't settle. Something will come along...it took us almost a year and a half, but we found it!

Right now DH wants the following school districts:

Merrick-Bellmore
Wantagh
Massapequa

Not that we aren't open to others but with all the back and forth from family and friends - this is where he wants to start.

Scott - I do heart you!

Here's the problem:

1. DH is not loving capes

2. Some we have seen in person and they require more work than we'd like to put into it at that price range.

I know...picky, picky, picky. Chat Icon

That colonial looks MUCH nicer in the pics than it does in person although it does have a nice open floor plan!
