Re: uti?
There are tests you can get at your local pharmacy (like CVS). Basically you pee in a cup. Dip the strip and compare colors. It will show if there are nitrates or WBC in your urine. If there is you can can call your OB emergency line to see if they will call in an RX, I was told by the emergency line that they don't call in for UTI's and to take AZO pills until I can see my OB. It was a long weekend so I hope you can reach your doctor. If your OB emergency line says no you can also try your PCP emergency line or go to a walk in clinic tomorrow. Feel better.

Re: uti?
This si the stuff I was told to take until I could see the doctor for antibiotics. It stops the symptoms but does not cure the infection so you still need to see the doctor. it will stop the pressure and spasms so you won't have to pee every 5 minutes. It will also get rid of the burning. But just to warn you it will make your pee a bright orange/yellow color so make sure you wear a liner so you don't stain your panties.

This is what I was advised to take when I got one over a holiday weekend. I said but I am pregnant but I was assured it was perfectly safe. I would still call the emergency line. They will be able to call the covering ob or advise you what to take :) When you call make sure to tell them how far along you are. I was only in my first trimester when I got my first one. They may have different rules for call the your OB depending on how far along you are.
