Re: UTI

I just made an appt.. I can't believe this. I usually run to pee after DTD and of course, just two days of not following my "regimen" I'm dying here. I've been guzzlling cranberry juice and water.. and there's no relief in sight. Chat Icon

Once you get on the antibiotic you'll start feeling better. I remember sitting in the waiting area squirming because I had to go so bad. Then squirming again after I peed in the cup and the doctor was talking to me. It was so excruciatingly painful. Hope you feel better soon!Chat Icon

Re: UTI

I have a chronic problem with UTI's. In 2008, i had 24 of them and in 2007 i had 16. Having DD last year seemed to fix whatever issue it was because i have only had 2 in the last year but i always take a cranberry pill now every morning and keep AZO (WalMart carries it near the HPT's and OPK's) and whenever i get that burning/frequency feeling i take 2 with a large glass of water and after about 10 minutes and it stops, makes it easier to get to the doctor. The AZO is a lower does of the Pyridium (turns your pee orange) that the doctor gives. It's like $7 over the counter.

Just thought i would pass the info along, helped me greatly. I hope you feel better soon!

what about a walk-in clinic? That is where i usually end up going, they have been quicker with me than my doctor's office. I hope you feel better soon!

I had Chronic UTI's also...

since i started taking cranberry pills & acidophelus and chewable cranberry pills they have stopped completely...

i also keep uristat on me at all times because its a pain killer... and if you feel one coming on you take it right away so that youre not in pain ...Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

ETA: before i found Uristat... one time i was literally at work in tears because i had no insurance and none of my friends had any antibiotics... i ended up finding my dads medicine for his chingles and taking them until my friend begged her dad to give me something (hes a doc)

Wow then maybe you flushed it out of your system. I would still go to the dr or buy the testing strips for yourself. I got them at cvs last week. You just want to be sure it's taken care of, ya know? Glad you feel better thoughChat Icon
