Uppa Baby Vista?
I have the Vista...and DS keeps biting on the belly bar!! He is literally taking chunks out of the material on it... does anyone else have this problem?? Have you found a cover or something to put over the bar? Apparently the 2010 model has a different covering over the bar, so this would be for 2009 or older....

we have the '10 & haven't gotten to that point yet buuuttt
of ure crafty maybe u can make something to put on it? like get some type of fabric at the store and either sew up the side or use an iron to set it together & then slip it on kinda like a sock??? or attach it w/velcro (but DC might take it off that way).
any maybe someone else knows if any of the stores carry a protective thing for strollers. I know i saw things for cribs at ikea & bru.

Thanks.... I actually called UppaBaby this morning... this is the 2nd time I've had to call customer service, and the 2nd time that I'm amazed at how wonderful they are!!! They are FedEx-ing me the belly bar cover for the 2010 model for FREE! I called asking if I could buy one and the lady said not to worry about it and she'd have it go out today!
I guess when you pay  for a stroller it's nice to know that the customer service is top notch!

we have the 2010 and its still foam, a hard rubber foam but i bet they could still do damage to it.. maybe wrap it with something 
if it gets really bad, you can always replace it

they are AMAZING! we had a problem with our canopy, a piece of plastic popped through and we had a new one in 3 days!!
ill have to find out about this cover!!
ETA - this could be a liability issue too! a child COULD choke on the foam

Ours came with a cover - it's a fabric-y type piece that velcros...

hmm ill have to see if we got the cover with ours....i dont remember and put all the "extras" aside.
ETA - just checked the bar. The one we have has a black zippered cover over the bar. I think it just came like that.

you know what, now that i think about it, we might have been given the 2009 but PAID for the 2010!!!  ours doesnt fully recline and it doesnt have that cover on the belly bar!

How long have you been using it? I think there's a bit of a learning curve....it took me a few weeks to really get used to it. Now I have no problems.

I think it is me. I have been using it four months and still can't do it on the first try. I went to BBB and tried the one there and couldn't open it either. What am I doing wrong?

Are you putting the brake on before you try to close it? And you have to press the side button and push down at the same time.... this sounds harder then it is!! I guess it's one of those things you have to show someone!

That's great to hear...we haven't gotten to that point yet since DD is only 13 weeks, but its great to hear about their customer service
