UPDATED: i'm going to be a mommy on FRIDAY
i am scheduled for a c-section at 2pm
i have WAY too much to do between now and then!! 
ETA:
so i got bumped 
i am now going in friday at 8am
not the end of the world but come on!!!

I believe that there was a post about a week or two ago asking us c-section mommies for some tips (maybe mikeswife posted it) -- there were lots of good pointers on there!

I will tell you the only thing I wasn't prepared for was - ready for this - sneezing.
After I came home from the hospital I felt it coming on, lets just say thank god I was near the kitchen table, cause I almost went down. It was more painful that anything I have ever known!!

 thanks for the tip
and of course i haven't been able to take allergy meds since i got PG so i know i'll be sneezing as soon as i come home!! 
ETA: i did tell my mom, and she was great - i took everyone's advice to tell her that this was something the doctor wanted and she totally understood. what a relief!!
