UPDATED!! Does anyone else see a +
And NOOOOO it's not my test  It's my closest friend and co-worker. I am just not sure if I am imagining a + or not? She took it this afternoon at the office and at first (within 30 seconds) she thought it was negative but I looked at it again and can swear I see a + sign. It's faint, but it looks like it's there? Ack - WE ARE NOT SURE!!!!! What do you ladies think?

UPDATE: She re-tested first thing in the morning and saw another faint + and she took a digital about an hour ago here at the office and it came back PREGNANT! So my eyes are good - YAY!!!  Image Attachment(s):

That's what I thought!!! She literally POAS, said "Oh its negative" and threw it in the bag to toss it. I asked to see it and I was like, "uuummm... I think I see a +!!!!!" She will do another test first thing tomorrow morning to see if she gets a better +. She has been married just 3 weeks and if this in fact is a + it will be a wedding night baby!!!!

Are false positives common? This was an inexpensive Wal-Mart brand test that she bought. Does that make a difference?

It did. It was a Wal-Mart generic brand test and I saw the + within the first minute, Test says within 3 minutes so I am guessing that would be OK? Now it was very faint and light. And as far as color goes... man I don't really remember to be honest with you. Sheesh!! I didn't even think about color. Does it matter that the vertical line was much lighter than the deep dark horizontal one?

As long as the line showed up within that time, then she is PREGNANT!
It doesn't matter how light the vertical line was - as they say, a line is a line!
The line should be pink in color also to rule out being an evaporation line - but if it showed up within the 3 minutes, then she's pregnant!
