UPDATED AGAIN- CYCLE CANCELED :(

I am NOT progressing with the Estrace. We thought we'd be able to go to transfer this Thursday and after my results last Friday, it was pushed to next Tuesday. Well as of this morning, my lining is exactly the same as it was on Friday. I'm on 6 miligrams of Estrace a day. My RE has me taking the vaginally instead of orally. I don't know how much more I can take on this d@amn estrogen and lupron. I'm in hot flash hell and a total b!tch!

Would a RE cancel a FET cycle, or just continue me on Estrace until my lining is thick enough? Of course I'll ask my nurse when she calls me this afternoon.

I'm wondering if there is an injectible form of estrogen that would help speed things up. I've been on the Lupron since 10/8 and the Estrace since the 19th

UPDATE#2 - Cycle done... My lining on Tuesday was a 5 which is what it was a week ago. Today it was a 4. He is going to make sure I get in to cycle again before the lab closes. I should be starting new cycle next week, I just have to get a bleed first. He did say there is a chance that my lining could have been damaged when I was pregnant with DD. We will be more aggressive this cycle, and if this doesn't work, then after the lab re-opens, we will do a stimulated FET cycle. If THAT doesn't work... then that's it... game over unless we consider a Gestational Carrier (not going to happen though).

ETA: My estrogen levels were also high (over 1500) which is why they didn't want to up the estrace again.

Looks like they are going to cancel this cycle. I'll know for sure on Friday when I see my RE. My case was presented to a number of the RE's today - one including the Big Cahuna of RMA and they all agreed based on how my cycle has gone thus far, there is no way my lining is going to thicken up on this current protocol. Needless to say I'm not handling the news very well. And since we are already into November, it looks like I won't be able to cycle again before they close their lab in early December.

I would think they would just continue you on the estrace until it builds up enough... they won't thaw your embryos until you're about ready to go I think. It's not like they trigger you or anything, so timing isn't as crucial.

Thanks Shannon That's kind of what I thought. We've had one delay after another with this cycle and I'm getting frustrated. The Estrace though is making me a freaking lunatic, I seriously don't know how much more my husband can take of me and my hormones!

So the estrace is supposed to work better vaginally? I took it 2x/day orally and my lining always got super thick...

Gosh, why didn't they offer you viagra (yes, you read that right) to thicken up your lining. That is what they do in DE world, since its only about the lining.

I'm so sorry. Its only a few more months away. You know you shouldn't put time pressure on yourself with this. It will happen when it happens. And you don't want to try this with a bad lining anyway. So, as hard as this is, its for the best.
