UPDATED 12/18/08-I don't ever ask for prayers, but I am hoping that being this is the season for miracles
That our prayers will work for a little boy my husband had to do CPR on this morning.
As most of you know, my DH is an EMT for the fire department of the City of New York. He doesn't really bring work home with him. But today he was so upset that he did.
He responded to a call in Brooklyn, a little boy who wasn't breathing, he did CPR and was able to get a pulse back, but his little boy wouldn't warm up and his pupils won't dilate. DH fears he is brain dead.
I hope our prayers will bring the miracle this family needs
UPDATE: 12/18/08-I just spoke to DH. THe baby died

How horrible. I will keep the little boy in my prayers. Thank goodness for people like your husband who are out there, doing this, despite the toll it takes on them
