Update.....amnio done!!!!!...
I am nervous and excited all at the same time. i haven't seen peanut in a while and we might get to find out the gender today if not definitely with the results in a few days.
Nervous for the needle but I know that is just a quick thing!
Update....Im home. it wasnt as bad as I had made it in my head. Dr said all looks good and I'll have the results in 7-10 days.
Peanut was not cooperating and the cord was in the way to tell if it was a boy or girl so i will have to wait the 7-10 days.
Now Im just on bed rest for the rest of the day

Oh good luck and let me tell you - I had the amnio too and the needle was NOTHING.
To me, a blood test hurts more!
It was such a quick pinch that by the time I was able to flinch it was over!

Good luck today! I had mine and it wasn't bad at all. I had no pain just a pinch. It really is nice to see the baby too. Don't be nervous....

Good luck! I had a CVS last week, and it was so not a big deal-- all these tests have a lot of build up and they are so fast.
