Update 8/16:
Thanks everyone for all your thoughts and support. The beta from 8/14 was 542. So it's rising very slowly, which is not a sign of anything good. I had a sono on 8/14 and another one this morning. No pregnancy detected in uterus or in tubes. But it's still very early. So we wait. It's somewhere, and it's not going to end well, but we need to focus on finding out where it is so we know how to deal with it. I should have these beta results tomorrow, and have another beta and sono on Monday. Please keep me in your thoughts and thanks again.

Update 2:
Beta from yesterday, 8/12, is ... 470.
This could be an ectopic pregnancy.
I might throw up.
I have an appointment tomorrow evening. Please send good thoughts.

Update:
Wednesday's repeat beta was 317. Thank you for all of your thoughts - I guess this is considered a chemical? I'm still not really processing it.

That's from Monday, which I guess was 11dpo.
I had repeat beta done this morning and dr. said she'd call me on Friday.
Waiting is terrible!

Although, I don't know why you have to wait until Friday for the results. They should have that today or tomorrow.

They said they'd have it tomorrow but the doctor is not in until Friday. I'm trying not to stress too much over it because it's just going to get me angry. And ain't nobody got time for that.

Thanks! No they did not, they want to see what the repeat beta/progesterone is. I will know tomorrow and I guess they will decide whether to give prog supplements at that point. I will definitely be asking. I am still spotting but only a teeny tiny bit of dark brown (and only on TP). Much less than it was a few days ago.

oh no! I was so rooting for you. I still am. I have heard it is possible for HCG to drop and rise back up and a pregnancy still be viable. I hope this turns out to be the case...but either way we are here for you.

Thanks girls. The Dr. did not give me any indication that this could still be a viable pregnancy. She said it's an early miscarriage.
And they will monitor my hcg levels on a weekly basis to make sure they go back to zero and I should expect to get a period at that point. And then we can start trying again. No timeframe for how long that will take though.
Ugh... I had an alcoholic beverage yesterday evening and am now having a cup of coffee.... should I not be doing this yet?

I'm no expert but I would give it a few more days and request another beta. your first.# was really high. I'm wondering If that was possibly a lab error or something. I'm really surprised your dr did not put you on progesterone after you had a reading of around 8. Many prayers coming your way!

it's fine. you're so early you don't even share a bloodline. I would almost wonder if it weren't possible that numbers could be high and go down if perhaps it could have been twins and one was absorbed / not viable. Not trying to fill you with false hope but I'd look into all options and opinions first.
