Update Thread..

I have noticed some names that I am not used to on the board and I figured we could do an update thread so we (haha **I**) could keep track of who to send baby dust to and when!!!

As for me.. Round 1 of clomid did not work so I am starting provera today (if the frekkin dr calls me back ever) and then onto a double dose next month.

What abnout you?

I'm real new on this thread.....I have a RE appointment on Tuesday (first time)....as per GYN I "might" have PCOS...the only study that shows that were my hormone levels.

I am currently 9DPO and praying that I don't even have to go to see the RE....

Hi thanks for asking!! I have just completed with Sher instute 1 IUI 2 IVF cycles which obviously have all failed. My dr wants to see me when I start the 3rd day of cycle. He thinks I should try not doing any meds just a natural cycle with an insemination? I think I might give this a shot. He mentioned that my eggs wont be as fragile if i do it w/no meds? i didnt even know the meds made them fragile. Never heard that either. Baby dust to you. I will be looking for you through the month!!

I am on CD 25 with metformin, and no ovulation. I am going to call the doctor next week to see if I should up my dose from 1000 mg to 1500mg.
She wants me to be on it for 3 months and see how it works out, but I am getting impatient already.

I am on Day 4 of 10 days on Provera. After AF shows, I go in for CD 3 bloodwork, start Clomid and schedule an HSG. So I still have about two weeks before anything really happens.

Just had my first IUI on Tuesday after taking Provera, Clomid and an HCG shot. I'm also on Metformin for PCOS. TTC since 02/06.

Hi ! I guess am in a holdoing pattern for my first IVF cycyle, finishing the BCP next week and then onto the injections. Yeah looking forward to that fun!!! Good Luck to us all!!

I'm also new on this thread. I am doing my first iui within the next week. it's a natural cycle, i ovulate on my own. they are just monitoring ovulation now and tomorrow i go for a post coital.

I'm just beginning here. I had my first OB aapointment this week and we are going to start bloodwork and an HSG next cycle. I never detected an O this cycle so I am not sure when the next cycle will be I have been having very regular cycles up till this point so who knows!?! After the month of tests I'll go back to my OB to see what they show. And DH will get his s/a too this month.

I am pretty new to this too! I had my first lap procedure done. I had one failed IUI. Developed cysts and now I am BCP to resolve the cycts and will prepare for 2nd IUI. RE thinks my prognosis is good but there is a male factor (below average motility).

Just brought in DH's semen sample today, we'll get results Monday. had sonohysterogram, blood work, & day 3 sono, all came back good. I was told that I have a tight cervix though, but he wasn't overly concerned. We'll see.

13DPO. Second cycle of IUI. FF says I can test tomorrow. Not gonna do it. Gut says AF is on the way and sadly, my gut is always right.

Just got my BFN from my first FET, after my BFN from a fresh IVF!
RE just did a bunch more blood work to test for immunological problems, and chromosomal abnormalites.
Not sure where this will lead me, but most likely another FET next month.

we find out what dh's problems are on the 18th!

I am gearing up for a FET on Tuesday. It seems like forever ago that I was on Clomid and Metformin and then onto IVF. Compared to veterans, I am a newbie, still. I give all you veterans so much credit!

My husband I just got his results from his Testicular biospy and he turns out that has zero sperm just like we thought. WE have an appt. with Dr. Brenner on August 6th.

I'm on Clomid and next week will go for IUI #4. I ovulate on my own but I'm on Clomid so that I superovulate. I've already handed in my application for the NY State $$ for IVF. My insurance does not cover anything.
I'm also attending a class next week on how to use the injectibles, just in case we decide to try that.

9DPO with natural IUI for second child. Had DS after 1 1/2 years of IUI's!!!!

I am at the end of my first IVF cycle....my transfer is tomorrow (3 day)...then the long dreadful 2WW begins.

Im going to my first RE post-op (myomectomy) appointment this morning. Which means, Ill be doing repeat diagnostic testing. Today, a pap smear and a endometrial biopsy. At a later date, another HSG. HOpefully, by Sept. or Oct. Ill be set to go for IVF.





Update: The biopsy wasnt too bad. Ill get the results in 7 days. My ultrasound revealed no new fibroids and he mentioned that my uterus looked fine. Thank goodness! I was worried about new fibroids.

In the process of doing a fourth FET from IVF cycle in January.
Then I have to decide if this doesn't work wether to go forward or give up.
