UPDATE: THAT WAS FAST

i waiting about 3 months of having all of my new responsibilities at work.

i've been here one year, today.

so... i'm ready to ask for a raise.

i've made a list of all my additional responsibilities and how i've kicked ass doing them.

i've noted the items i've taken initiative with and what the positive outcomes have been.

i've noted how i took the initiative on some financials and was able to collect payment on over 20% of what was owed to us.

etc.

so i'm about to walk into the boss's office...

and i'm SO NERVOUS!!

i've never initiated this process. i've never gone to a boss to say "hey, pay me more" lol granted, i won't use those words.

pray i don't come across like an ass and that i get it.

UPDATE: it took all of two minutes!!

i went in there and told him that i've been working for him for a year and that i waiting 3 months of having all my new responsibilities...

he cut me off with a smile and the words "... and you want more money."

in the end he said that he appreciates knowing i'm doing a lot, but he has to do a little internal research. since he's not the person who hired me, never saw my resume, doesn't know what i originally was hired to do... etc. he asked me to give him until monday to give me a number.

i guess, he knew it was about that time for me to ask for more money lol

let's see what he comes back with.
