Update: She's here! (with first bath pic!)
So excited to announce that our little girl is here! Sorry - it's been a crazy week - but I wanted to share a picture of our little muffin. I never thought love like this was possible. It's really freaking amazing.
Meghan Ainsley - 7 lbs, 12 oz. - born on my due date! How's that for being on time?!
Ladies - GET AN EPIDURAL. If you're on the fence - DO IT. I felt literally NOTHING (no pain, just slight pressure when contractions came). It was such an amazing, unscary experience. I felt when to push - but it didn't hurt. (Not even the accompanying episiotomy hurt! Although now it doesn't feel so great!  )
The last 10 minutes were a bit scary - as her heart rate dropped (the cord was wrapped around her neck). She spent my entire hospital stay in NICU - but was fine. She just was startled when she exited, and as a result, tried breathing deeply too quickly, and needed to be watched. NICU nurses are the most special people in the world. I was amazed at their warmth and devotion to all of the babies - healthy and unhealthy.
If you are delivering at Mt. Sinai in NYC, you will LOVE it. The entire experience was amazing. The hospital staff was great and the delivery room felt like a hotel room! We were watching and laughing at The Office on the TV inbetween pushes!
One other piece of advice - take EVERYTHING that isn't nailed down. Take the underwear, pads, gauze, tucks, sitz bath, cooling spray, ice packs, diapers, formula, etc. ...And ask for more more. You'll find that they'll sneak you more.
Best of luck to everyone with the rest of their pregnancies! I'll be checking back!

Got here at 2 pm- was 1 cm. Just got epi at 4 pm and I'm 4 cm!! I feel great now.
God bless those of you who don't get epidurals!!!! I could neverrrrrrr.
