Update on me...Update #2- Still Here
Where do I begin???
I was at Roosevelt Field w/ DD on Wed, walked into Sephora & felt a little "gush". Freaked out, called Dr., went to his office & he told me what I didn't want to hear...had a spontaneous rupture (water broke) at 28 week.
They do not know why this happened, esp. since I am in good health & never had a single pg. complication.
I am now pretty much on bedrest here @ the hospital until this little girl decides she wants to come out. She is moving around lots, her heart & everything else look great, but my fluid is low.
I have never been more freaked out in my life.
I could really use some good thoughts & prayers that out little girl can cook a little longer & is born healthy. She could come today, a week, a month... there's just no telling.
On top of this, this hospital is not letting ANY children in the hospital b/c of this stupid swine flu outbreak, which means I can't even see Alexandra while I'm here.
My i-net access here is limited, but I will try to update when I can.

So I'm still here...It's been 3 weeks of hospital bedrest for me, I made it to 31 weeks as of today.
The baby looks good, strong heart, lungs, still kicking up a storm, etc... Fluid level has been stable.
The Dr's will let me go up to 34 weeks, but I honestly cannot imagine another 3 weeks in here, it is NOT fun.
I miss my daughter terribly, though I get to see her once a week. I have to miss her last day of school next week
 .
I feel so helpless being here...putting everyone out to watch DD & my poor DH missing so much work to care for DD. I know this is small stuff in the grand scheme of things, but it's been stressful.
So for the baby's sake hopefully I will be here another 3 weeks so she can grow a bit more & be born healthy, that's whats most important in the long run.

OMG Andrea - how awful! Do you have to stay in the hospital the whole time or will they be able to send you home on bedrest.
Tons of prayers for you and your little one! 
Hoping you can see your DD soon too!

We've been praying for you Andrea! Hang in there! I can't even begin to imagine how hard it must be not to see Alexandra. I hope the baby cook a little longer!

OH NO! Lots of prayers for you! I hope this baby cooks alot longer!!
Eta- a good story for you is my friend was PG with Twins and one of her waters broke. She had very little water left ( some thankfully regenerated a bit)...She held those babies for almost 5 weeks ...they were born at 28 weeks 4 days and they are the healthiest little 1 yr olds now. They even left the nicu's WEEKS before anyone expected and are barely behind at all in development.
So although you are going to hear a lot of scary stories I'm sure in the hospital....There are a LOT of great stories as well. So think positive!!

OMG Andrea...I am so sorry to hear this but sending lots of positive thoughts, wishes and prayers your way. You sound very positive which is always a good thing and it was so wonderful to hear that your DD is doing well - I pray with all my might that that continues
Have you thought about video messages back and forth with your daughter? Have DH record each of you with you starting and then have him record her response so that you can see each other and talk to each other?
