Update on me....LOOOONG
So.. here goes... the shortened version
As some of you may remember I had a m/c on the 30th of September... 30 days ago. I had bleeding for 18 days
My beta levels for the first week were
Monday: 540
Wed: 420
friday: 195
The next thursday: 65
The bleeding stopped the thursday after that.
The next day( friday): 45 hcg
So then I stopped bleeding for exactly one week.
The sunday after that last hcg I had ewcm and that thursday I started to spot. I thought maybe implantation spotting maybe af.. Who knows. I chalked it up to AF. Well today is Tuesday and I still spotting with some very weird cramping. SO last night called the dr. and had blood drawn this morning and went in for an appt this afternoon.
They did a sono which shows that I ovulated recently on my left side.. Makes sense. My prog. level was 8 which also shows that I ovulated. My Beta level is 31?????????? We don't know at this point if that is from the m/c still or if I am pg. The dr. Seriously doubts that I am pg and
thinks I ovulated 3 to 4 days ago. Dh and I bd'ed on Sat the 20th and sunday the 21st. So if I ovulated 4 days ago... pg is not a possibility. I told her about the ewcm and she says she can't rule out that I ovulated a week and 2 days ago but seriously doubts it.
Well anyway since I O'd I will be getting AF in 14 days from the O. Unless I am pg She thinks I still have some left over cells from the m/c and doesn't recommend a d&C because I will be getting a period in a week or so and that should flush everything out. Also... there is the off chance that I could be pg. The other thing is that my uterine lining was very thin... No duh.. I have been bleeding for 30 days... so I don't think that is a good thing for a new pregnancy.. Who knows.. I am just guessing...
Well anyway there is my update.... It sucks... I just want to move on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
ETA: thanks for all the support, I am sure everyone is getting tired of my "story" by now. I really means a lot to have a place to go and unload!!!

Also I guess this answers my question from last week.. Can you ovulate when there is still hcg in you? YES
The dr. said there is not a lot of research out there saying you can but that generally there is a level that once your body gets below it you can O. I guess 45 ish is okay.

I am so sorry you are going through all of this You know I wish Stephen & you nothing but the best. I hope this gets straightened out very soon & you are able to move on. Did the Dr say anything about if you are PG again, would it be viable giving all the other factors????

I didn't even get into that because at this point she is pretty sure it is not a pregnancy. It could be and she did say she could be wrong but I think she doesn't even want to cross that bridge until we come to it. She doesn't want to do any more blood tests until next week because at this point it is just useless and causing me emotional stress. So I am going to enjoy my birthday this friday... you know as long as Stephen gets it through his head that I need HIM to plan something nice and leave me out of it. If he asks me one more time what I want I am going to scream!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (my parents are going out of town and I am just sad) Sooo yeah... the plan.. relax, enjoy my birthday and try to not obsess until next week. The dr did tell me to drink this weekend..She said don't get sloppy drunk just in case.. but drink and have fun.

Yeah she said it is rare that a m/c would take this long but it does happen and when it does it is usually with an early m/c... If I was further along it would have all just come out (TMI) at once and been heavier and shorter.

Has she talked to you about methotrexate? if there are cells still left they should not be there. Ask her about the metho shot

That is what induces a miscarriage right?
If so.. No.. because she wants AF to wash them out naturally. That is why she is not into doing a d and C. She did pose that as an option but I said no to that. She agreed. There is no need to do anything invasive because I WILL be getting a period because She was able to confirm ovulation. So since I waited a full month, another week is no big deal. If I really wanted to she would have done one of those options right away. There are no signs of infection at this point so she wants me to keep close contact with her and wait it out

I'm so happy you updated! Well, either way things are looking in you direction. Either you are PG or you will get AF and be able to understand you cycles and hopefully get a BFP soon!!!!
