Thinking of you and your little babies!....My SIL had her twins at 29 weeks....they are now 6....and totally fine!......god gives you only what you can handle...

oh and i was put on magnesium when i was in labor, not fun, i didnt enjoy it so i feel your pain. hang in there!

My nieces were born at 28 weeks and are now perfectly healthy 4 year olds...
My friend delivered twins at 26 weeks 2 year ago and they are really big 2 year old boys!

My prayers are with you and your twins. I am so sorry you are going through all of that. When I was hospitalized on pre-term labor, my roomate had broken her water 4 weeks earlier and actually made it 4.5 weeks before having her baby at 33.5 weeks. Her baby girl was healthy and everything worked out. I am sure that will also be your case
Your babies have almost made it to the 28 week (which is great! YAY!) and their weights are not that low at all for that gestational age. When two of my babies where in the NICU, there was a baby whose weight was 3.2 lbs and born at full term (38 weeks) and he was doing great! Believe me, it will happen for you! Be positive! all the time.
As far as the NICU doctor....I had the talk too. I actually blocked out all the information at the time on purpose . Unfortunately, my MIL was present at the time and she was listening. She stressed out about it and consequently stressed out DH...ahhhh!
