Update: i bought the frame. Thoughts on this gift for couple having destination wedding
My brother is getting married in Mexico. My FSIL is having a shower, but my brother and her already had a house warming party (a year ago) and got most things from their registry. So Im pretty stumped on what to get them, but obviously want to get something nice since its my brother and My kids DH and I are in the BP
I found this and was thinking of getting it for them, Not for a sand ceremony but just as a keep sake and I will make sure to take sand from the spot on the beach where they got
yes or no?
Forever Frame
Update: just wanted to share that I did end up purchasing the forever frame and it is really nice and well made! I think its different and something other people wouldn't purchase for a couple having a destination wedding. My brother and sis in law loved it!

Thanks. I actually watched a youtube video on it and its really well made and the picture can be changed without disturbing the sand. So I think its probably best to stick with this one than to the one it was compared to

I think this is a great idea.
On our honeymoon we filled a water bottle with black sand from Hawaii. I think I am going to get a frame since there is nothing romantic about a water bottle and I have no idea what else to do with the sand.

I wouldn't tell them to travel with it, we would just get fill up something with sand for them and fill it at home. I think they would rather have the sand from the beach than colored sand

I am not into "typical" wedding keepsake kind of gift but I think this is a great idea.
Thank you for the idea for a few different gifts where I can use this.
