UPDATE 4/8 - New Cycle, New Plan (sort of!)
My HcG still hasn't gone down all the way. As of yesterday, it was 11 (Wednesday's Beta was 16). I started m/c on Friday and it's been on and off all weekend. I'm back at work today and sitting here close to tears because the cramps are so bad.
The good news is that our 4/23 appointment with my RE was bumped up to this morning, and it was such a relief to sit and talk with the dr. about this cycle and the upcomiing cycle. I need to have a plan at all times for anything otherwise I drive myself insane. I go back tomorrow (my bday of all days) for another beta check, and if I'm below 5 they will start me back on BCP. Chances are, I can start Lupron again on 4/24 which would be my CD21. The only change in my protocol is I will start at the max dose of Gonal-F from the start since I am a slow responder. I stimmed last cycle for 13 days, the majority of their IVF patients stim for 9. I'm also back on the Metformin which they had me stop when I got my BFP. Even though I am no longer IR, the doctor wants me to stay on it as it's supposed to help with egg quality. My doctor does not beat around the bush or sugar coat and he's very optimistic that I will get pregnant and stay pregnant.
While I'm still so incredibly sad, I feel a sense of relief that we can move forward onto a new cycle.
UPDATE 4/8: Happy Freakin' Birthday to me....  Well instead of my beta going down.. it went UP.. W T F ?????? It didn't go up much. I was at 11 on Sunday and today 12.2. I have to go back on Thursday for another check. The nurse asked about my bleeding and I told her the past 3 or 4 days it's been like nothing, and she indicated based on what comes back on Thursday I may need a D and C. Which is definately NOT what I wanted. I seriously just want to cry.

I'm sorry- I know this has been really tough for you. I'm glad that you have a plan now though! That always makes me feel better as well.

THIS is the exact statement you need to believe. If he feels it will happen and you believe it, it will. Repeat this to yourself every day. It helped me and it will help you too!
I am glad you were able to speak with your doctor sooner than later. You will feel peace a bit sooner as well. Hang in there. When it happens, the dim sum is on me - ok it is on DH but you know what I mean!!!

Thats great you can start again so soon. I had to wait until AF to come again before starting a new cycle.

Good luck! One quick question. Why are they downregging you with Lupron if you are a slow responder? I was assumed to be a poor responder because of fsh but I didn't downreg started gonal and menopur on CD 3...I also did the antagonist protocol with ganirelix

I didn't think to ask the doctor since it was 6:30 in the morning and my brain does not function at full effect that early in the morning! But it did strike me as odd later in the day when I was looking at my calendar.
I'll be getting a call from my nurse later today with my current Beta (hopefully it's under 5 by now), and I'll ask. I know that I am at risk of OHSS, so that might be the reason, I wasn't on a very high dose of Lupron last cycle though.

I'm so sorry you have to go through all this. I know how horrible any set back feels. I always feel like I'm getting that "go to jail" card in Monopoly where you forfeit $200 and go back to start or something.
