Undercover Tourist
So is this where everyone orders their tickets for WDW? Or is it better to just go through disney directly?

Re: Undercover Tourist
Undercover tourist will save you about 7 percent (sales tax) on your tickets. If for some reason, you need to cancel your trip, you can return UNOPENED tickets to them.

Re: Undercover Tourist
UT is an authorized ticket reseller. NEVER buy from someone on the side of the road or "rent" tickets. That's illegal. UT is legit, and you will save some $ on the tickets themselves.
The downside is that if you buy tickets through UT, you won't have a "package" through Disney, so if a package promotions comes out for your dates (Free dining, Kids stay and play free, Buy 3 get 1 free, etc), you won't be able to take advantage of it without buying the tickets through Disney. You also lose the added package benefits such as % off a golf and baby care centers, Planet Hollywood, free mini golf, luggage tags, etc. Doing everything piecemeal on your own also means that you wont have the benefits of an agent doing your dining reservations, itinerary planning, etc for you.
UT is legit though. There are other sites out there that LOOK good but they are really illegal scams, so always be careful.

I have used them without issue, but our last trip I used orlandoticketclub.com and their prices beat UT.

Re: Undercover Tourist
Was OTC still cheaper after tax and shipping?
Also, I've read that OTC is NOT an Authorized reseller, which UT is. I don't know that for a fact since I'm not a CM. I

They are not an authorized disney ticket dealer. Which means that the tickets might or might not be okay.
That doesn't mean that they aren't okay but when they aren't authorized to sell tickets you could end up with an issue.

There is a cast member over on disboards who works with tickets and confirmed that they are NOT on the authorized list that the cast members have.

His info has always been reliable. You can get some good deals but to me it isn't worth the stress of getting to the gate and finding your tickets are no good.

He's dead on. He is more reliable than the official policies and Disney reservation CMs

Yes, much cheaper, like $30 a ticket. We had no issue at all using them
P.S, they have great feedback on ebay, otherwise I would not have used them. I did not order through ebay though.
The code to check their prices is family345. I bought tickets last year so I have no idea how the price compares now.
And I don't trust most of the people on DIS, because I'm pretty sure that DIS gets a kickback as does Mousesavers on tickets purchased through their advertisers links. So of course they won't recommend too many other people for tickets.

I agree, I am wary of ALL info on the Dis, but there are a few posters who do have info that is dead on.

Yes he is - I look for his posts when I am trying to plan around policies like what to do if you want to pick up tickets and do a room only for the 1st night...LOL. I have helped friends do that with his posts.

While waiting for our tickets at Will Call this morning, we saw two families get turned away for fake/used tickets. The CM kept explaining that they got tickets from an unauthorized seller and there was nothing they can do. One Guest called the company "the club place" but I can't confirm/deny it was OTC.

I highly doubt it was Orlando Ticket Club. Their feedback is impeccable. I'm sure there are many other con artists out there selling Disney World tickets though.
