under stair closet - need ideas
i can't stand this stupid closet!
when i search under stairs closets, all those lovely built-ins come up. there are no ideas for the way my closet is (door in the hallway and the closet is deep, but obviously slanted ceiling. it's so annoying!)
Do you have any ideas? i use it for my vacuum, extra broiling pans my HUGE pots... i have a small shelving thing in there, but i BUST MY BACK every time i go in there!
PLEASE HELP

DH and I just did this in the house we rent. They just had a table in there that was completely useless. Had to measure, and measure again, but they will cut the shelves for you at home depot.

We store all our Christmas decorations, ornaments, etc in there. We figure it's a pain to get things in and out and we only have to dig them out once per year. And the closet hold a lot since it's under an L-shaped stairway.

We store all of our christmas stuff at the far end. Then i have my vaccum, swiffer, steam mop and regular mop in there too. We also hang our coats in that closet as well.

i love the shelves! i removed some that were already in there from previous seller, but they weren't deep enough. My small appliances (foreman, quasadilla maker) wouldn't fit because they were too shallow...
i really like PP picture!

Thanks! The shelves we got were 1 foot deep so I can still walk in there. We put our bread maker and ice cream maker on the floor. Just make sure to measure twice. I'd clear the whole thing out, find the studs (make sure to drill the shelf rails into studs, ours came out of the wall in our old place) and measure at least twice.
We did 2-6 foot long shelves on the bottom, a 4 foot shelf and a 3 foot shelf.
