MBR with lil closet..need ideas!
We live in a coop. Our mbr closet is so small..abt 2x3feet. The previous owner left us 2 wardrobes which we are using. I really hate them. They so so heavy that we can't move them without help. I can't rearrange anything in the room because our bed is right smack in the middle of them! Is there anything else I can do to add storage/closet? I have dressers but still got boxes hanging around  
Is there anyone I can call to give me some idea?handyman? So frustrated withour room!!

How big is your MBR? Our co-op has a massive California closet built out from the wall by the people who owned it before the people we bought it from. I don't know how much it cost them but it is a huge lifesaver!
Would this be an option for you?

Can you add a second bar to the closet (one on top of the other) so that you have double the hanging space? You can leave enough space on the bottom rack to hang longer items (long pants, dresses), and have a shorter space between the two bars so you can hang shorter items, such as skirts and tops, from the higher bar.

Use double bar to maximize your current space
do you have an "empty" wall? how big is your bedroom?
At an aparment I rented I did not have enough closets.
Because it was temporary, i could not build a closet.
I got Ikea wardrobes. I built the whole wall. It looked custom made because I went the whole length of the wall. In the center, between the wardrobes I put a dresser and nice shelves on the wall above the dresser.

If you send your dimensions to Container Store, they will email you plans for a closet that will work for you..check out their website..shh..I didn't go with them, but I got little things here and there and did some rearranging and it really helped!

Depending on the size of your room, could you have the closet built out? We were able to do that and it has been a life saver! I may have lost 3 feet of room, but oh, how I love my closet!

We have no closet in our MBR. We have two large wardrobe units from Ikea that act as a closet. Maybe look into those. They are Pax units.
