Post your closet ideas...
Im looking to start the closet in the nursery before we do anything else so i have a place to start putting things. Please post pics of your closets if you can. I currently have a single door closet. It seems small so i am looking to maximize my space.

Re: Post your closet ideas...
so, we have a small walk-in closet area, and we re-purposed 1/2 of the space (formerly hanging space) for our changing table/dresser.
I found that we don't really need much (or even ANY) hanging space for Scone. I mean it LOOKS cute, but it's not necessary. all the clothes are sooo small, they easily lay flat in a drawer.
we DO need tons of shelving / storage. so, drawers are golden (for clothing, burp cloths, bibs, socks, linens/blankets....) and so are shelves (diapers, lotions, bottles, toys, gear).
so my' just about to be a first time mommy' advice would be to maximize the shelving, bin, and drawer space!

Re: Post your closet ideas...
I've heard that many of those cloth hanging shelves for closets (do you know what I mean?) are not the best, since they tend to sag... just an FYI.
so if you're planning on storing heavier stuff, make sure whatever you select is a bit more rigid
