I know- I was shocked when Jake said he kind of wants too
We have alot to think about- he wants to buy a house in 12 months- and the prices down there are so much better then they were last year when we were looking!

I think that's cool 
on a side note, I've only been to FL once during this time of year. it was 75-80 degrees out and people had their houses all decorated and kids were taking pics with santa at the mall while wearing shorts.
it just didn't feel like the holidays b/c of the weather

My parents are down there now (Ft. Lauderdale area) and mom says "Swimming in the pool, listening to Jingle Bells....It's just not the same".

Yup, I went to thanksgiving dinner in a tank top, capris and sandals... it felt sooo wierd.

We were in SC this past week & the palm trees were all done up. It did look strange but I liked it. I think it was even harder to do shopping though with my bathing suit under my shorts & tank

I LOVE City Place in West Palm. Except I heard that Godiva closed & the Judaic art store is gone!?
I actually like the lights on Palm trees....it is festive in a carnival sort of way

I love it too! But I HATE HATE HATE anything to do with cold weather so the site of a palm tree will ALWAYS make me smile. It's the most perfect tree ever IMO! Reminds me of all things warm!

at least the leaves are lit too on that tree..i see palms by my moms house all the time where just the bottom half of the trunks are lit up

Yea there are a lot lit like that around here too! I just happened to snap a pic of one where the leaves are lit.
