Uber

Am i the only person who hasnt used Uber and has no clue how?

I didn't start using it until the most recent snow storm when I couldn't get my car out. It was awesome. Get in, get out. No cash involved. Cheaper than regular car service. Just really great.
It's super simple too. Just download the app, put in your info and you're all done.

I used Uber pool during the storm. It was so cheap I actually felt guilty and thought about getting rid of my car. That lasted two days lol

Our local car service sucks so we use Uber a lot.
Actually had an Uber pick us up outside the taxi dispatch office one night when they didn't have a car for 30 minutes. Uber came in 8.

Like too that we can use Uber anywhere.

Well I've been in one once with a group. But I never ordered one.

i have been in a car pool with Uber, but someone else always ordered. I have the app set up but never actually ordered one myself.

I love it. It's great. My son and I take an Uber home from baseball practice every Wednesday night because it's 9pm and my SO has the car

It's $7.66. If I took the bus (we live in the city) for both of us would be $5.50. So work the extra $2.16 lol

I used it for the first time last year and recently on a trip last month. I think it is the greatest thing. I love it.

I also love how it's like half the price of a cab from the airport
When I flew to Florida it was $45 from FLL to Miami, a cab was about $90 plus

I WISH we had it where I live, but we don't. The state legislature is trying to pass it so fingers crossed!!!!

yup. In queens it has been door to door drop off/pick up. in Manhattan they tell you where to meet uber , usually the next corner and they drop you off along the route.. maybe a block away depending on traffic.

ppl hop in say hi and bury their face in their cell phones. uber also gives you an est time to your destination and a MAX time to your destination. My ride was like 4 miles and it was $6!

Nice! I have considered trying uber pool but always chickened out haha.

I held out for a while because I was convinced it was a great way for serial killers to find people to kill but now I'm a big user and am still alive to tell the tale

I like that it's all automatic including the tip. Just jump in and jump out.
