TyReseGreen's IVF Journal 12/1 Final update
Here is my IVF Journal that I wanted to share with everyone! Kind of long, but interesting....................
Me 35: Secondary Infertility
DH35 : No issues (lucky a**)
April 2011:
*IVF consult at NSUH
*Blood work done and everything looks good.
July 2011:
*AF arrives
*Saline Sonogram done (looks good); 7 days later
August 2011:
*Day 3 Blood work and Sono, began stims(Menopur and Bravelle; continue Lupron)
*3 days before retrieval I prematurely ovulated!! Cycle CANCELLED! WTH
Late September 2011:
*AF arrives
*Protocol changed to Menopur and Bravelle, but using Ganirelix for suppression instead of Lupron
October 2011:Fresh cycle 17 eggs14 fertilized;3day xfer;BFN
November 2011:Medicated FET cycle;BFN
March 2012-April 2012: 2 FET both BFN
May 2012:
*IVF consult done at RS of NY! Love them! Protocol changed Menopur, Gonal Pen, and Cetrotide/Ganirelix or suppression. Baby Aspirin, Lovenox, as well as Antibiotics will be taken.
*Waiting for my chart to get sent to RS of NY from NSUH
June 2012:
* NSUH sent my records (sought of). NP @ new RE said they only received SA, Pap, and Monitoring Chart. WTH!! No embryo report or DH blood work.
*Cycle postponed due to not having all of my records.
*Letter from NSUH MFM sent giving me clearance. Waiting for July AF.
November 4th 2012
*AF arrives with a little help of Provera. Go for my day 3 Tuesday.
November 6th 2012
* Begin MEDS:
Gonal f 225mg
Menopur 1cc
Baby Asprin
Doxycycline 100 mg 2x's a day
November 10th 2012:
*Monitoring appt
Follicles are about 8mm they don't count them until lead is 10mm. A little disappointed hoping they were larger
*Nurse called and modified my protocol I go in tomorrow for monitoring
*Meds: 150iu of gonal f, baby Asprin, and doxycycline
November 11th 2012
*Monitoring appt
Lead follicle is 12, then I have several at 11, and 10 (about 12 follies in all.
*Nurse called and I am continuing the gonal f at 150 iu, baby asprin and doxycycline tonight and tommorow night. Next monitoring appt is Tuesday and I begin Cetrotide Tuesday morning.
November 13th 2012
*Monitoring Appt
* I don't know how many follicles I have! All I know is my lead is 16 in my right and 15 in my left. My e2 was a little over 1000 and my LH is 1.4.
* Continuing 150 gonal f tonight and I have to do Cetrotide in the morning. I go for monitoring in the AM.
* Retrieval will be either Saturday or Sunday.
November 15th 2012
*Monitoring appt
*Trigger tonight @ 9:30
*Retrieval Saturday morning @7:30
November 17th, 2012
* Retrieval Complete!
*31 eggs retrieved
* will be on meds to avoid OHSS
* wishing my self
November 18th, 2012
*Fertilization Report
*31 eggs retrieved,27 mature, 27 injected via ICSI, 20 fertilized
* Tentative 3 day transfer for Tuesday; may change pending status report Tuesday.
November 22nd, 2012
*Transfer Done
*2 day 5 blastocysts transfered
*12 blastocysts frozen
November 24th, 2012
*Progesterone and Estrogen check-looks good
December 1st, 2012
*BFN and AF arrived.
*Will break this cycle then on to FET end of the month
