IVF Journal- update 9/16
9/10 So here we go. I have been on Lupron since the 26th. I went for blood and sono and got the go ahead to start meds....fun times! lol. I continue Lupron and add Menopur and Dexamethasone. DH's TESE and retrieval will hopefully happen around the 19th or so. Fingers crossed!!!!!!
9/12 Had blood work and sono. No follies yet, but signs of them getting ready to develop (so she said to me). This is such a new experience and I feel so clueless. Shots are going fine. One of the meds makes me feel dizzy-like at night (dexamethasone) and I woke up last night feeling uncomfortable, but not crampy. I find out later about meds and next visit. I cant believe I am actually doing this!
Found out I am not progressing well enough. Taking 5 menopur, instead of 3. Tomorrow I start follistim. I hope there are some follies on my Monday sono.
9/14 Still slowly progressing. Increased follistim again, still on the other meds. Trying not to overthink anything. This weekend DH is supposed to have TESE since urologist is available. Hopefully those follies cooperate for this cycle Go back for blood and sono on Thursday.
9/16 I go for blood and sono tomorrow morning. I hope follie counts and sizes are good. Wish me luck!

I had to take dexamethasone also. I didn't like the way it made me feel either, but after a while my body did get used to it.

keep going strong!!! you will get there! i am on Dexamathasone now too.. its not fun.. but make sure you eat something when you take it.. it helps!
