Tylenol Extra Strength
My doctor said I can take this, not just the regular strength. It's 500mg. Is this ok? I'm nervous about taking such a high dosage? Thanks!

I wonder why they would tell you not the regular strength, it's the same drug  If anything, I would think they would say to take the regular, not extra strength for the dosage. But obviously, do whatever your doctor says, it just doesn't make any sense to me

With my boys I was always only told to take Regular Strength, now they say extra strength. She knows I've been having bad Pubic bone pain whenever I move so maybe that's why? I just didn't want to take 2 regular strength since they're 325mg each. The extra strength is 500mg. The 325mg just isn't doing anything to help. I just didn't want to take too much. If I took to reg strength that would be 650mg which seems way too much.  Tylenol usually doesn't do anything for us, I prefer Motrin IB, but it's not allowed. I might just get the extra strength just to have the little extra mg.

tylenol is a category B, and is ok to take whether it's regular strength or extra strength. Just make sure that you don't exceed 3000mg in 24 hours, regardless of whether or not you are pregnant.

anytime! I can't believe it either!! I am pretty much all ready. i hope she gives me at least another 2 days so i can finish all my nesting projects but i've been getting contractions on and off, go back to the doc on friday! we'll see, this last week has been the longest waiting game ever lol
