two questions

I placed a call for special pick up of a busted fridge and a stove.
They said to put out tonight for pick up tomorrow morning.

My Dh just tells me that no sooner that he puts it out some guy came and took it.

Two questions:

1) do I now have to cancel special pick up although I am sure by the time they get my message it will be after the sanitation men will have come for it..

2) why would someone want a fridge that is broken and full of mold??? Is there something I am missing? Could we have brought it somewhere for $$ ?

we have a junk man in our neighborhood that takes all sorts of crap from our garbage. More power to him!

I dont think any money you could have possibly made from bringing in the stuff would have been worth it..let the junk man have it.

When we moved the old owner of the hosue left a ton of cr@p and I mean cr@p!!!!!! We no sooner put it out on the curb we had two or three pick ups come by and grab it

There's tons of scrap metal in a fridge that you can sell for money. That's most likely why the person took it.

yup i agree with the scarp metal. We have a man who drives around every evening looking for stuff to scrap & make money off of. If we put anything i mean anything it will be gone in minutes! *i once put a broken coffe maker out & it was gone in a hour*

Scrap metal. If they have the means to haul it...they can make lots of $$$
