I would never ever let anyone throw a 2nd shower for me. I don't think it's up to people to buy me the items I need. I think a first one is nice as a tradition but even if I didnt have one then, my DH & I were fully prepared to buy our own items. However, if I received an invite for one, I would probably go if it was someone close to me. I wouldnt be shopping for big ticket items again though...

I hear that comment alot about every baby being celebrated but I honestly don't see what that has to do with it at all. I dont think a baby is any less celebrated if there isn't a shower.
