TUESDAY QOTD
GOOD MORNING!!!!!
Today's question is....
What is your birthing plan? (Home delivery, water birth, midwife, hospital, birthing center, ect)
I would like to have a water birth but I LOVE my OBGYN...I'm torn I'll probably end up delivering at the hospital I was born in with my OBGYN.

Re: TUESDAY QOTD
Hospital with an OB and an EPI!
I delivered out of St Cats last time with a wonderful OB who no longer practices, but the rest of the Drs in the practice are wonderful. However, they only deliver out of St Cats, so once I get my BFP, I may find another practice that delivers out of Stony Brook bc I HATED St Cats.
The other plan is to try not to give birth in the car, I was only in labor from start to finish with DS for 6 hours. 3 hours of labor, 3 hours of pushing. They say your 2nd goes faster so hopefully not too fast!

Re: TUESDAY QOTD
As of right now, and mind you, I haven't educated myself much on birth process options. I am going for your standard, wham-bam-thank you ma'am delivery w/a lotta drugs.

Re: TUESDAY QOTD
I always figured I'd go for the standard hospital delivery with an epi for sure.
Well I recently watched The Business of Being Born and Pregnant in America on Netflix and now I may be changing my mind. It made me consider a home birth more seriously although I'm pretty sure I'd be too chicken to try it. I'm leaning towards the hospital with a midwife, no induction, and as little drugs as possible. I figure I'll still probably end up with the epi but I'd like to let my body do most of the work!

Re: TUESDAY QOTD
Delivering in a hospital with an OB. I would like to try my best to go drug-free (if i can take the pain). I also want my OB to do everything possible to avoid a c/s.
