Tuesday QOTD

Good morning ladies

Thank you so much for the privilege of being FMOTW. It is quite the honor.

So for today's question......How did everyone meet their DH's of SO's? I don't know if this question has been asked recently, but I always love hearing the stories (mostly because my story is boring).

I met DH in a bar. So romantic We were both there with a mutual friend, and I just knew that he was going to be somebody important. We go back to that bar often, and when I sit across from him I still get little butterflies remembering how much I liked him that first night.

Me & Dh started dating senior year in Highschool. Over 10 years ago. It was the begining of the school year. He was sitting next to me in a class and me & my Best Friend were discussing our plans for the weekend. I asked him if he would like to come hang out. I thought he was so cute and wanted to hang out (actually wanted to hook up )
We hung out with a few times then started hanging out everyday after school and he would com pick me up & drive me to school. Everyone wold make comments that we were dating/gilfriend and boyfriend. But we werent until about 3 months in. We were haning out one night and he sid to me "if i kiss you during school would that be ok" AND "If i wanted to tell people you were my girlfriend would you be okay with that"
Ever since then we have been inseperable and best friend. After 3 months Finally got to hook up (which was my original plan

DH & I met in high school. He says he noticed me in 9th grade bc I always came into band class late. We started talking in 10th grade in school, by the end of 11th grade we were best friends. I wasnt looking for a boyfriend bc I was young and just having fun with friends. I told my boss at the time that I didnt think you should date a friend anyway and he turned to me and said who better to fall in love with then your best friend?? After that my feelings started to change, we starting dating the summer before our senior year and now here we are almost 9 years later!


ETA: He always cheated off me during history tests, we had a spacey teacher and once he actually took my test off my desk in the middle of it, the teacher walked by smiled and didnt notice We had Italian and history together, those two teachers used to argue over which one brought us together

DH & I met in 2006. We didn't acknowledge one another until 2007. We work for the same company and have a friend in common. Our job sent us for a mandatory 3 month training and that's how we got to know one another. Before we became "friendly" we had a verbal altercation and I cursed him out. He fell in love with my profanity

We hung around the same group of people for a couple of years. A couple of years later we ran into each other and things grew from there. Apparently we both had interest in each other but having SO at the time got in the way.

We met through my ex. I actually became friends with his brother first who was a friend of my ex and one day DH showed up to hang out and I asked his brother to "hook us up" His brother did not want to so DH actually initiated a few weeks later by asking me on a date for Valentines Day and we have been together ever since 9 years later!

I met DH when I was 13 and he was 12. He was my next door neighbor. We "dated" as much as you can as 12 and 13 year olds, but got together for real when we were 17 and 18.

At work. I was with someone at the time but he wasnt giving up and Im glad he didnt. Happily married for 4 years now

My sister's DH knows my DHs family very well and always wanted to set us up. Never worked out with the timing and then one day it did and she had him write to me on MySpace. It's so funny to look back at all the first messages.

DH and I first met in high school, hung out after I graduated a few times but nothing serious. I dated someone for about 6 years and then a mutual friend of ours got us hanging out again.

When I was in high school, I worked at Michaels and became very friendly with a couple of co-workers who were friends with DH. First I couldn't stand him until one night he told me a looked cute when I was in mismatched sweats and really looked like a hot mess

After that we flirted a bit but I was starting college out of state in a month so it didn't make sense to start going out. A week later, his friend came into the store and asked me if I would go out with DH - he was too chicken to ask me himself!

We started dating 3 1/2 weeks before I left for college and made a 4 year mostly long distance relationship work! We've now been together for 10 years this coming August and have been married for 18 months!

DH and I met at 230 5th in the city. I was just out with a girlfriend and he was just visiting a friend for the weekend (since he lives in Ohio) we all had a great drunken night together and he drove back to the city the next weekend and kept coming back every weekend after that. Then eventually I went back to Ohio with him
