Tuesday QOTD...

I think we can all agree that some of us have slightly obsessive personalities, especially when it come to TTC. Thats why we spend a lot of time on this site talking about it. But do you have someone that you talk to IRL all of the time?


I talk to my SIL's about it because they both recently had their second. DH thinks i should try to refrain a little and just keep it to ourselves, and he would also like to surprise the fam when we get a BFP. I know he's right but I cant help myself, its all I htink about!

i have my sister and one friend who i tell a lot too bc I haven't really told many people that we are even trying. I try not to talk about it too much though bc I don't want to drive them crazy. It is just nice to have people to talk to about what is going on in my life.

My cousin. She is my BFF and we were pregnant together the first time...our DD's are 4 months apart!

There are no secrets between us, and we discuss EVERYTHING. It's so nice to have someone with whom you can be so candid and honest!!

Great question.. I don't have anyone that I would talk about TTC. I am very private to begin with and part of me also feels like this journey to TTC is just between me and DH, and wants to keep it our little thing.

I don't have any sisters, and I would NEVER talk about it to SIL and friends are out of the question, just because so no I wouldn't.

Just you guys.. so consider yourself lucky

No..not reallly, i mean, i guess i could if i really wanted to..but i'd rather not let any of my friends or family members know that we are ttc..want to be able to surprise everyone..Also, i don't think anyone would be able to deal with all my ttc issues on a regular basis (other than you girls!).
So i guess this is why i post on here so much..Thank god for LIF!!!!!

I don't have anyone to talk to about it right now. On the one hand I wish I did, but at the same time I love that its something that only DH and I share right now. No one knows we are even thinking about starting a family, so its going to be a huge surprise if we get a BFP and I look forward to that.

But it's only our first month, so maybe if things don't go as smoothly as we hope I might reach out to someone for support.

I have a tendency to keep it more to myself. I mean I do talk to SIL about some things but I have not outwardly said to anyone we are TTC, everyone thinks we are still waiting.

nope... my mom, sisters and SIL will ask me how its going and i will say as little as possible... "waitig to O", "waiting for AF", etc...

I talk to my favorite cousin (besides D). She's only 22 but always listens, has the best advice and doesn't think I'm crazy. I can trust her with everything.

DH & I are really private. We don't share anything unless we necessarily have to.

I don't talk to any family at all about it. I have 2 friends that I can easily talk about it with, but I would never tell them if I really thought I was PG, because I want all that to be a surprise. And I would want to tell the right people first, KWIM?

I like it that way! We kept everything a secret with #1 and will do the same this time around. I'm a private person so it would be a little uncomfortable for me to give out too much info.

i have one close girlfriend that i talk to about it... other than that, that's it.
it's been hard, bc dh and i don't even talk about it that much - this has been such an emotional journey for me and dh is very "whatever happens, happens". sometimes i just want to break down to my mother; it's hard not to.

Well, I am under an "alias" here, but I don't talk to anyone IRL with the detail I do on here.

I have some friends who will be trying for their second too-- so we discuss it a little, and dance around specifics, but that's about it.

I talk to the woman I work with. She is much older than I am and somehow she is the person I can most comfortably confide in.
I talk to DH about it, but he is clueless and so it gets frustrating to talk to him. But her I can say anything to and she understands.
