What do you think is your greatest achievement?
It's a tie: 1) Buying a house with my DH at 27, without any financial help from anyone and 2) My job. My official title is Guidance Counselor, but in reality I'm helping to run the school. And I earned that spot on my own.

I guess mine is getting my Maters degree and obtaining a teaching position at a Long Island Public School.
And buying a house was pretty cool too

My greatest achievement is having my DD and being a great mom to her! I see in just the 17 months she's been with us what an amazing, loving, happy, well adjusted child she's already turning into and it makes me proud!! I must be doing something right!!

I read this before and I've been thinking about it for a bit and cannot come up with anything, is that terrible? I mean not to say I haven't done anything worth while with my life, I've graduated college and all but nothing pops out to me as my "greatest accomplishment". Maybe I just haven't done it yet!
Ok so while cooking dinner I thought of something. I don't think it will be my lifetime greatest achievment but up until this point I think it is.
When I was 18 I got a bunch of credit cards and within a year I was about $12,000 in debt. A few people suggested I claim bankruptcy but instead I opted for a debt management program and paid back every cent I owed. It took 5 years, I actually just made the last payment in August. Even though the best thing would have been to never get myself into that situation I am so proud of myself for taking responsibility for what I had done and sticking with the program.
