QOTD: Did you. . .
do anything when you turned 30?
Did you feel compelled to complete a life task? Make a big change? Do something with your look?
I am turning 30 in August, I feel SOMETHING percolating, I just don't know what?

It wasnt totally planned but I gave birth to my first child when I was 30. I realize thats a little different than what you are talking about, but to me personally, it was the change and feeling of being completed that I so needed.
So with my turning 30, came the biggest, most life altering change ever..and it was the BEST thing I have EVER done!

Well. I was pregnant on my 30th b-day, so that was the big thing I did- have a baby. Other than that, not much.

I got married 6 months before my 30th b-day & graduated college 1 month before, so DH & I just spent a quiet weekend together.

We signed the contract on our co-op only 1 month before my 30th birthday. That was huge for me because neither of my parents have ever been homeowners so I felt I had accomplished something they didn't, and at a young age.

I gave birth to my boys the week before my 30th and my DH took me out that night (my first night out and the first glasses of wine in a long time). I thought that was a pretty big accomplishment to reach by my 30th so that satisfied it.

From someone who celebrated their 30th last week - the answer is no.
Just spent a fun weekend in AC. Going to Key West in Aug with my other 30 turning friends.
I am excited about being 30 and the new chapter in my life that I'm starting.
The past year was tough for me and I'm very happy about the change the new decade will bring!!

I knew I wanted to have a baby at 30 and I did and on my actual birthday we were in Alaska on a cruise - so it was one of my best birthdays!

A few months before I turned 30, I went back to school for a career change. This decision had a lot more to do with things going on in my life at the time then turning 30, but it was interesting that it all came together at that time in my life.

I used to want to be pregnant with my first child when I turned 30. Being that I turn 30 in September and I have been through a lot of ups and downs with DH, I just don't see that happening. 
I'm not sure what I want to do now... I know my DH is itching to join the marine reserves before he turns 30 in May.

I didn't feel compelled to complete a life task once I turned 30 - I don't really hold too much significance in age and milestones.
I did get a haircut about 2 weeks before - and got bangs (something I hadn't had since HS). I grew those out rather quickly 
DH threw a surprise party for me - which I loved and he TOTALLY surprised me.
