ttc experts!
my cycles have been 38-42 days apart, I'm still nursing. Question about counting days...should I count 14 days after the first day of aunt flow, or should I count 16 days back from the 42nd day and BD. I know it's gonna be hard since I'm nursing.

So from what I gather you are trying again.
Do you have any idea around what CD you normally O? It's different for everyone. Most O around cd 14... but I don't O until CD 18 to 21....
I would count cd 1 as the first day of AF and then once I would get around CD 16 I would start  daily until right after O day.
you should follow that same formula, but adjust it for the day you normally O.
Have you used opk's? they could help you pinpoint when O occurs for you.
