Traveling at 31 weeks?
DH has planned a big ski trip when I will be around 31 Weeks. There is about 10 people going and we are traveling to Vermont. I was just going to go and hang out. Do you think it is too late in my pregnancy to travel that far?

I plan on driving to NC for X-Mas and I'll be 32 weeks! It should be an interesting ride with tons of stops but we'll make due!

Re: Traveling at 31 weeks?
My last pregnancy I traveled by myself to Boston for a girls weekend at 34 weeks...this pregnancy I am on bedrest...I think its fine as long as you clear it with your doctor and everything has been uneventful in your pregnancy...

I think it's totally fine if you are driving...
I know that if I was traveling 6 weeks from now, I'd probably be fine-- but, I guess a lot can change from week to week at this stage.

Re: Traveling at 31 weeks?
I am 32 weeks and I would feel up to traveling. As long as you are feeling good then I dont see why you cant go. Just make extra stops to use the BR and stretch a little.

We are going to Stratton. It takes about 4 1/2 to 5 hours. We have gone many times before, so I know the place well.

My DH always has to Pee, so the BR stops won't be a problem.

I plan on going down to NY several times in November, which is about 3 hours away. I'll be between 32 and 36 weeks.

Re: Traveling at 31 weeks?
i would check with your dr to be sure, but my dr is fine with travel up until 32 weeks via 3hr plane.
after that she does not recommend going more than 2 hrs away via car.
