Is there a way to get a disney only board? The disney threads on here are crazy. 7 alone on the first page. It makes looking for something a pain in the as$. Or even put all of the disney 5857565748 questions pinned.

Majority of people have kids here. You can also seek travel advice on the Childless threads. It sounds like more people are bored with hearing about Disney but don't necessarily post about other travel areas, so if you dobt like it, don't read it. Or post about a new travel topic. The influx of Disney has only been recent. Are we supposed to create a seperate board just for you?

It has become in issue because non disney threads are getting lost in the mix and people who have no interest in Disney or are looking for other type of vacations can't get the info or advice they need.... And "families" does not mean "children" BTW

I would enjoy a Disney board but I don't think it would solve the problem which is that people just don't post as much on non Disney threads. I find whenever I post about a couples trip it isn't that it gets buried - the board doesn't move that fast and it's easy enough to view multiple pages - it's that people don't post. I have bumped my new hope, pa thread several times. It's spent a lot of time on the first page, but people just aren't respondIng to it. If you want the board to be more active on non-Disney topics, then by all means PLEASE post more on non-Disney topics. Make the board more like what you want it to be. There's a very active community of people who love to talk Disney, but we could sure use some people posting and offering advice on other locations.

this board hardly gets any responses for stuff other than Disney anyway, so I'm not sure the big deal.
Just like there are 100 threads on Parenting about feeding your kids, etc. etc. etc., there are going to be a ton of threads about Disney on a travel board.

i don't really see an issue with it -where people are traveling to is what they post about.
if there is a question about a specific place/island/resort then make a new post regarding that place.
ignore the disney posts if ur not going there or have any interest in it - i ignore posts about cruises and places out of the country bc they don't really pertain to me

If Disney is all over this forum it is because its the vacation of choice for the majority of posters on here.
If this was flooded with posts all about Europe would we be asking for a sub board for all those posts?

Ah, the old if you dont like it dont read it statement. Thanks, for that grand advice. My point being the search function on here sucks balls, so Instead of a quick search you have to search manually through pages of THE SAME DISNEY questions over and over. It is annoying.
And, a FAMILY is not only a family because children are involved.

I agree - it seems that the number of Disney related posts on this board has skyrocketed, and there are a ton over on parenting as well.
I think it might be a better way to organize the posts since it seems so many people are travelling to Disney this year (myself included).
I think people respond to the other travel posts that aren't related to Disney - I know I do if it's someplace I am familiar with.

What are people searching for ? Everyone wants new information most of the time. While family does not always include kids, the majority of posters here have them. Childless board is a great source to post about child free vacations, since there's rarely any discussions going on there. Disney is the number one vacation spot in America. And everyone complaining about the excessive threads on Disney do not seem to be posting any questions about ANY vacation destinations or questions, so I think people are just looking for something to ***** about. You want info on Cabo? or Belgium hotels? post about it and bump it up often.
